- I have attached contractor performance reference sheets to this notice and will require 3 of these to be returned. A couple of questions were brought out at the bid opening. 1. Out of the approximate 35 VAV terminal units, how many are pneumatically controlled and how many are DDC electronically controlled? All existing VAV terminal units to be worked under this contract are DDC/electronic. 2. What local indications are desired for conditions in the spaces and are we concerned enough about pressure relationships to warrant audible alarms? Local displays in all spaces served should indicate temperature. Displays in the 5 operating rooms should also indicate humidity. Differential pressure and air flow should be monitored for the 5 operating rooms with pressure alarms and air exchange data displayed on the building automation system front end/remote control terminals.
