- Sole source firm-fixed price purchase order for 4 Light Armored Vehicle parts repair to serviceable condition (Qty 2 each Trunnion Encoders P/N 16100695-001, Qty 1 each Temperature Probe P/N 327NM552445, Qty 1 each Recouperator Assembly P/N 327NM52473A). This action is supported by the authority of FAR 6.302-1 entitled, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Subcontracting opportunities may exist. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in part 12, acquisition of commercial items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
