- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Schneider Electric USA, Inc., for specialized services regarding the integration of electric meter data into the current Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Nation-Wide Advanced Utility Metering Database (NWAUMD), the integration of non-electric meter data into the Nation-Wide Advanced Utility Metering Database, the energy usage analysis for several levels of the organization decision making support, providing energy related reporting to all levels of the organization, and the on-site training for the data management and energy analysis of VA Energy Managers. The work will require the contractor to continue to host the current NWAUMD and provide data management that ensures system operation commensurate with the current pilot project. The Pilot Project uses the central monitoring system software ION ® EEM. This procurement is being conducted under FAR 8.405, Ordering Procedures for Federal Supply Schedules. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4 P.M., Eastern Standard Time on June 6, 2011. No Request for Proposal will be issued based on this Notice of Intent to Sole Source. POC is listed below. No phone calls will be accepted.
