- Brushing Sites - Rexford/Fortine and Three Rivers Districts Map 2 - Three Rivers District Map 1 - Three Rivers District Map 2 - Rexford/Fortine Districts Map 1 - Rexford/Fortine Districts PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE AG-02RC-S-11-0066 Three Rivers, Fortine and Rexford Ranger Districts Kootenai National Forest Idaho / Montana Acquisition Team MACHINE / HAND ROAD BRUSHING. The Forest Service intends to solicit for road brushing with the use of a brushing machine and chainsaw on the Three Rivers, Fortine and Rexford Ranger Districts of the Kootenai National Forest. Work consists of clearing of all trees less than 6 inches diameter stump height, all brush, limbs on trees outside the clearing area, and all vegetative material within or obtruding upon the clearing area. Additional clearing may be required to obtain sight distance. NOTE: Interested parties are encouraged to visit the worksites. Please contact Terri Morris, 406-296-7157, for site-specific information on the Rexford and Fortine Districts. For the Three Rivers District, please contact Ben Thom, 406-295-7452. Location maps and a list of brushing sites are attached to this notice. Estimated Start Work Date is July, 2011. Anticipated Issuance Date will be June, 2011.
