- STAINLESS STEEL BASKETS 18" L x 9-1/2" W x 4-1/4" H STAINLESS STEEL BASKETS MUST HAVE A LOAD CAPACITY OF 50LBS MUST BE MADE OF A WIRE MESH OR PERORATED SHEET METAL. THE HOLE SIZE MUST BE <.15" IN DIAMETER MUST HAVE A HANDLE THAT GOES ACROSS THE MIDDLE MUST HAVE DIVIDERS AS SHOWN IN ATTACHED DRAWING The following is a list of required specs: Mesh: AWG 17 or thicker. Sheet Metal:.05" or thicker. Handle: Round, welded to inside or outside of basket. It should be at least 1/3" in diameter and sit between 3" to 6" above basket. Holes: <.15" in diameter. There should be holes on all sides and bottom, but not needed on dividers. The holes shall be no farther apart than.30" from the center of each hole. Dimensions: See drawing. Carrying Capacity: The baskets shall be able to hold at least 50 lbs. The Air Force plans to procure 200 each Stainless Steel Baskets in accordance with the attached drawings. The solicitation issue date is May 4, 2011. Offers are due on May 16, 2011 at 10:00 am The entire solicitation will be made available only on FedBizOpps (FBO) website at: http://www.fbo.gov. All current and/or future information about this acquisition, i.e. solicitation, amendments, purchase specification, and Q &A's will be distributed through FBO. Therefore, interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a DUNS number and be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the Government. Failure to have a DUNS number and "active" CCR will result in an award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror.
