Description
Draft PWS Ingersoll Rand Centac Compressors Model # 2CII40M3, Recold Cooling Tower Model # JW115C and associated cooling system components. This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis for non-personal services. The Government is neither negotiating nor calling for offers at this time. No solicitation is being issued at this time; while a formal solicitation may be issued at a later date, this notice does not commit the government to ultimately award a contract. This announcement is an expression of interest only and does not commit the Government to pay for any response or preparation cost. The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this sources sought synopsis. Submission of information will be reproduced and submitted to the 309 CMXG Engineering office for review and will be used to develop the acquisition strategy market research and possibly a Request for Quotation. 1. Purpose. Market Research is being conducted to seek qualified contractors to maintain the Ingersoll Rand Centac Compressors Model # 2CII40M3, Recold Cooling Tower Model # JW115C and associated cooling system components located on Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Qualified contractors must have the skills, knowledge, and resources required to complete this effort. 2. Information for Interested parties Subject to the Government's consideration, a viable source, already qualified to provide the requisite services should submit a concise and equipment specific response presenting sufficient information to substantiate that: (a) They possess the necessary skills and resources to service, maintain, and repair Ingersoll Rand 2CII40M3 Centac compressors, cooling system, including the cooling tower and the associated cooling water system components. (b) They possess a minimum of 3 years experience servicing Ingersoll Rand Centac Compressors and shall be an Authorized Ingersoll Rand Service Provider. The Field Technician must have a certificate stating they are factory certified in servicing this type of Ingersoll Rand Compressors and should be factory certified in servicing and repairing compressor cooling systems. (c) The Offeror's Service Field Technician shall possess up to date, current certification for the following: 1) AST402: Basic Centac Mechanical Certification 2) AST405: Advanced Centac Mechanical Certification 3) AST453: CMC Service Tools Certification 3. Other Information The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333912. Respondents to this announcement should indicate whether they are a small business, 8(a) concern, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, or historically black college or university (HBCU) or minority institution (MI) (as defined by the clause at DFARS 252.226-7000). Provide information on at least two contracts for similar work within the past five years. Include complete references, contract titles, dollar value, points of contact and telephone numbers. The Government will evaluate relevant experience information based on (1) information provided by the Offeror, (2) information obtained from the references provided by the respondent, and/or (3) data independently obtained from other Government and commercial sources. Timeline for the RFQ is in process but is not completed for this effort and there is no availability date for a draft RFQ. Please send your response and technical questions to Brent W.
