Description
Marine Corps Systems Command intends to issue a sole source modification to Contract Number M67854-07-C-2072 with Northrop Grumman Systems, 1580A W. Nursery Road, Linthicum Heights, Maryland 21090 to increase the ceiling for Engineering Services and Support Labor hours by 77,760 hours and to increase the not to exceed ceiling of the Other Direct Cost line item for materials and travel by $1,185,544.07. This increase in hours and costs is concurrent with an extension of the period performance for these efforts through March 2014 which coincides with the end of the G/ATOR system design and development effort. The Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) program is a single material solution for the Multi-Role Radar System (MRRS) and ground weapons locating Radar (GWLR) requirements. It is structured as an evolutionary acquisition program consisting of four discrete increments. Each increment builds upon capabilities of preceding increments. Northrop Grumman was competitively awarded the Increment I System Development and Demonstration in March 2007. As such, they are responsible for the design, development, fabrication and development testing of the Increment I hardware and software and will perform all aspects of the system integration. Northrop Grumman is required to demonstrate that Increment I can meet all future growth requirements in forthcoming Increments. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. No RFP is available for competitive proposals. Email questions to Contracting Officer, Jennifer Sellers at jennifer.sellers@usmc.mil and Contract Specialist, Tiffany Parker at tiffany.parker@usmc.mil.
