All drawings are hereby replaced and new drawings for this project are incorporated. (See attached) 2. The deadline for receipt of quotes remains May 23, 2011at 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). 3. Page 68 of 75 second paragraph is hereby changed to read "Contractors are responsible for verifying receipt of their proposals. All proposals to this RFP must respond no later than May 23, 2011 by 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time". 4. Page 68 of 75, Proposal Format, last sentence is hereby changed to read "Please mail proposal to 300 East Main Street, Suite 500, Norfolk, VA 23510 or email proposal to tara.m.holloway@uscg.mil. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. (Replace page with the attached) 5. Page 69 of 75, Submission of questions, all questions must be submitted in writing and received by May 13, 2011, 3:00pm EST. (Replace with the attached) 6. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS SOLICITATION REMAIN UNCHANGED. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice Posted April 22, 2011 This solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test Programs For Certain Commercial Items. The Coast Guard intends to award a fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. Work shall commence on or about 5 July 2011. The Government shall award a contract resulting from this solicitation to a responsive, responsible contractor whose written proposal is considered most advantageous to the Government, both in price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers proposals and are in descending order of importance: 1) Past Performance and, 2) Price. Factors 1-2 will be applied to determine the best value to the Government. Past Performance is significantly more important than price. All correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference Request for Proposal Number HSCG80-11-R-P45G27. The closing date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on 23 May 2011, 3:00 P.M. EST. The anticipated award date is June 23, 2011. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All parties are encouraged to continually monitor the FedBizOpps.com website for any amendments to the solicitation.
