- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Subsistence Directory intends to solicit for Prime Vendor support for the following zone consisting of customers in the San Antonio, Texas area: Brooks AFB, Lackland AFB, Randolph AFB, Coast Guard customers, Fort Sam Houston, ANG147 FW Ellington Field, Laredo Job Corps Center, Port Isabel Detention Center, Wilford Hall Medical Center and NOAA Ships. These customers require various amounts of subsistence items from the 8900 Federal Catalog or their commercial equivalents. An implementation period of approximately two (2) months (or 60 days) shall be allowed under the resultant contract. After the implementation period, contract performance will begin and extend to 12 months thereafter. There will be two (2) successive option periods consisting of a total of 12 months each. This is an unrestricted acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. which shall be considered by this agency. The contracts will be awarded through a Lowest Priced/ Technically Acceptable Evaluation. Offers must be able to interface with the Government's established translation package and support Electronic Data Interchange transaction sets listed in the solicitation. The customer will be provided delivery on a "Just in Time" basis. the Request for Proposal(RFP) will be posted on the DLA-BSM DIBBS website.
