- Description
- The Command and Control Directorate (C2D) is part of the CERDEC located at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. There are four Divisions: Battle Command, Quick Reaction & Battle Command Support, Power, and Battle Command Applications. Each Division has a specific mission area of responsibility in support of the Army's need for the most modern strategic and tactical command and control technologies. The Battle Command Division develops, evaluates, and integrates evolving C4ISR battle command solutions and related enabling technologies for rapid transition to the full force in support of effective joint, coalition, and homeland security/defense operations. Proposals will be considered from organizations interested in conducting scientific research. This includes colleges and universities, non-profit research institutions and commercial firms, small business and small disadvantaged business concerns, historically black colleges and universities and minority business enterprises and institutions.
