- Solicitation A contractor licensed in the State of Alabama according to the Alabama Department of Insurance shall provide the following services. Contractor is to supply all parts, labor and equipment necessary to perform the following work: •§ Contractor is to perform a recertification of the entire fire pump and jockey pump systems. •§ Contractor is to provide a test report within 1 day of testing to the Subcontract Administrator and Process Coordinator. •§ Contractor is to provide documents to certify that the controllers meet UL and FP standards as required by NFPA 20 Section 14 (Figure A.14.2.5.4 or equivalent) and that the above set-points have been established for the controller. Contractor is to input data to Gate 5A controllers to establish the following parameters: •§ Main pump cut in pressure: 130 psig •§ Run time: Minimum 10 minutes (under test) •§ RPM check: Indicated on PLC vs. actual •§ Ampere check: Indicated on PLC vs. actual There shall be no deviation from the original scope except as allowed through ANCDF Subcontracts as required depending on the changes being recommended. Contractor(s) will participate in the pre-job briefings to ensure that good communications are established with ANCDF Subcontracts, Engineering and Maintenance departments before any work begins. Extreme caution shall be taken to ensure that unplanned outages will not occur. POST MAINTENANCE TESTING (PMT) Verify the Gate 5A fire pump system is fully operational and certified.
