- Description
- 1. The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC)-Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), WA, intends to solicit proposals for a contractor to provide perform inspection, full maintenance, and repair for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) as described in the Performance Work Statement (to be included in the RFP) at JBLM, WA. A complete Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Proposals (RFP) number is W911S8-11-R-0002. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a fixed-price requirements contract with and time-and-materials CLINs. The applicable NAICS code is 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a size standard of $14.0 Million. This procurement will be solicited as an unrestricted/full and open competition requirement. 3. The anticipated contract period has a base period of 1 November 2011 - 31 October 2012 plus two (2) one-year option periods, with each option, if exercised to begin performance on 1 November. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/ and the solicitation will be posted on the Joint Base Lewis-McChord website, http://www.lewis-mcchord.army.mil/doc/, under Solicitations. The tentative solicitation issue date is 6 June 2011 and the anticipated closing date is 6 July 2011. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ and ensure that the applicable NAICS code 238290 is included in the CCR profile prior to submission of proposals. 6.
