- RFQP06201100002 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Mendota, located at 33500 west California Avenue in Mendota, CA, is requesting quotes for the acquisition of Gravel/Crushed Gravel. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 212321 and there will be small business set-aside used for this requirement. The government intends to make an award on an all-or-none basis. Quotations will be evaluated and award will be based on the price, quality and overall best value to the Government. Your quote must provide all specifications. Contractor must be able to begin delivery of items no later than 5 days after receipt of purchase order. Delivery will be on a will call basis. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is most advantageous. The proposed price must include all associated charges, fees and delivery cost (FOB Destination). Submission of Quotations: Vendors will be required to submit the following information on the attached Standard Form 1449. Offers are due no later than May 17, 2011, at 12:01 pm, local time. Offers received after this date may not be considered for award. Offers can be faxed or emailed to Phillip Espinoza, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at (559)-274-4127 or pespinoza@bop.gov.
