Solicitation: Open/Close Dates - 23 MAY 2011/23 JUNE 2011 5. Buyer - James Williams 6. Detailed Requirements Description: This solicitation is Unrestricted, Full and Open for Competition. This solicitation is for one (1) Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Shaft Lathe IAW DSCR Purchase Description # DLAA-VIBB-11-17-1018 dated 20 August 2009 as follows: one (1) CNC Shaft Lathe, shipping, installation, and training. Delivery of items is to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. FOB is Destination with an inspection at Origin and final acceptance at destination. Quality Assurance Provision (QAP) 175 will be utilized. The performance of this period for this award will be 24 months after receipt of contract. This award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The final contract award will be based on upon the low, technically acceptable offer. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA "DIBBS" at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. All interested parties may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency. There will be a "site visit" at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The date and location will be in the solicitation.
