- Solicitation D11PS30297 provides for Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT) flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the US Forest Service fire suppression programs at Pendleton, OR. The airplane will be based at Eastern Oregon Regional Airport (PDT) 7 days a week beginning July 2nd through September 14, 2011. The exclusive use period will be for 75 calendar days. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a Government unilateral option for four additional years. The contract requires a single turbine engine powered agricultural airplane with a minimum payload of at least 475 US gallons of material weighing 3,943 pounds with endurance of at least 2 hours at 75% power and a 200 pound pilot. Aircraft must be capable of operating as configured above at 6,500 feel pressure altitude and 40 degrees Celsius. Cruise airspeed of at least 117 knots true airspeed at 7,000 feet pressuire altitude and 30 degrees Celsius. The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is May 10, 2011.
