The vessel will be required to transit from its home port to Kwajalein and operate in close proximity to the RTS. The primary activities supported will be: (1) to transport, deploy and retrieve a set of instrumented rafts; and (2) to record telemetry data using a mast/antenna system installed on the vessel, provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). The vessel will be required to remain at sea continuously during the entire 8-day test-support window (10 August 2011 through 17 August 2011). The RFP will be posted to MSC's procurement website (https://www.procurement.msc.navy.mil/procurement/contract/Welcome.jsp) on approximately 10 May 2011.
