- Glenmont Job Corps is seeking quotes for repairs to the HVAC system on several buildings. Specific Requirements: Replace the existing electronic/electric control system with a new system to control all functions of the installed heating, ventilation and air condition systems. The system shall control the heat output of the radiators, by control of supply water temperature to the radiators in accordance with outdoor temperatures. The system shall control the operation of the heating and ventilating units, including control of ventilation air to meet occupied and unoccupied requirements, control of supply and return fans on an occupied/unoccupied cycle and control of supply air temperature to meet space heating requirements by modulating the temperature of the water to the heating coils. The system shall control the existing air conditioning units by cycling them on and off to meet temperature requirements. There will be a pre-bid meeting held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at 1:00 pm. At that time, the Scope of Work will be reviewed, all questions will be answered and a walk through of the repairs sites will be done. Please let us know ahead of time if you will be able to attend.
