- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to issue a Sole Source Award to Koshiba, Agena, and Kubota, Attorneys at Law, 1003 Bishop St Ste 2600 Pauahi, Honolulu, HI 96813 for a continuation of services. The Contractor shall provide local Counsel Services to support PBGC's efforts to in the Aloha Airgroup, Case No. 08-00337. The PBGC is involved in this matter as a creditor and must obtain local representation to protect its Interests. This includes providing services in support of appeals filed by the PBGC with respect to orders entered in the bankruptcy proceeding and support potential related litigation filed in the district court. Koshiba, Agena, and Kubota have been active on this case and a prior case since 2004. The firm's services will continue to be performed as the bankruptcy matter and a related state court proceeding move towards completion. An interested party may e-mail a written capability statement with sufficient experience for these required services, which shall not exceed 3 pages in length. Interested parties may submit their capability statements, and qualifications for the provision of this service, which may or may not be considered by the agency via email to Miller.Mark@pbgc.gov no later than 11:00 AM EDT on May 5, 2011. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued.
