- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ requires repair services for the AN/USM-708 Communication/Navigation Radio Frequency Avionics Flightline Tester (CRAFT) which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with Tel-Instrument Electronics Corporation located in Carlstadt, NJ under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. Tel-Instrument Electronics Corp is the sole designer and manufacturer of the CRAFT and the technical data rights are proprietary to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The government does not possess the technical data rights to compete the requirement. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, the government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
