- The Billings Area Indian Health Service is requesting bids in accordance with the requirements of Invitation for Bid (IFB)-244-11-0006-REL to renovate the Muddy Cluster Lagoon on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation near Lame Deer, Montana. The work includes, but is not limited to, removing fencing; clearing vegetation; removing as well as onsite storage of Cell #2 sludge; disposing of existing manholes and transfer structure; excavating and leveling Cell #2 floor; filling and constructing Cell #2 berms; installing sewer manhole for Cell #1 and Cell #2 and installing sewer main; installing inlet structures for Cell #1 and Cell #2; installing transfer structure from Cell #2 to Cell #1; installing bentonite liner on the leveled floor and banks of Cell #2; replacing fencing removed for construction; achieving final grade, spreading topsoil, and applying erosion control fabric; and seeding disturbed area. The plans and technical specifications will be available for inspection, without charge, at the PHS Indian Health Service, 2900 Fourth Avenue North, Billings, Montana after the solicitation is released. Moreover, there will be no charge for the solicitation documents. The estimated price range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is May 20, 2011, with a bid opening date of 2:00 p.m., on June 20, 2011. The completion time is 120 calendar days after notice-to-proceed.
