- Description
- VA Medical Center, Fargo, North Dakota is seeking potential firms that have the performance capability for Project 437-11-109, Install New Chiller at Central Chiller Plant. Contract completion date is 180 days after notice to proceed. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors. The estimated dollar value is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. A 20% bid bond will be required at submission of bids. Performance and Payment bonds will be required within 10 days of contract award. To be eligible for award, SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following sites: www.vetbiz.gov, www.orca bpn.gov and www.ccr.gov. Provide all material, labor, equipment, etc necessary to provide and install a new chiller at the Fargo VA Health Care System main Medical Center central chiller plant in accordance with the construction documents for Project 437-11-109, Install New Chiller at Central Chiller Plant, in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. This project will design the installation of one additional air cooled chiller at the cent5ral chiller plant at the Fargo VA Medical Center. The piping mains are prepared, valved and ready for the installation of the chiller. The set up will match the set up other three chillers currently installed in terms of piping, valving, controls, automation, programming, etc to the extent possible. Work shall include, but shall not be limited to, mechanical, electrical, concrete installation and grounds restoration. All work shall be in compliance with all applicable NFPA, NEC, Life Safety Code, UFAS, OSHA and other pertinent code requirements. This solicitation is anticipated to be available on www.fbo.gov on or about May 20, 2011. Requests for solicitation documents made by telephone, fax, or e-mail will be honored.
