- Notice of Intent to award sole source contract. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 1) intends to negotiate and award a contract for MRI services in order to research cognitive disorders, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to Yale University, New Haven, CT. A five year contract/basic ordering agreement is under consideration. The authority for this action is 38 USC 8153 and 41 USC 253(c)(5) as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 Authorized or Required by Statute and VAAR 806.302-5(a)(2). This notice contains information current through FAC 2005-51. The NAICS is 541712. The PSC is AN52. Interested persons may contact the Contract Specialist regarding this procurement and may identify capabilities for items of this kind. The Department welcomes information on comparable capabilities.
