- CONTRACT NUMBER Notice Type: FA8771-04-D-0007-2CA302Special Notice Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to award a sole-source modification to add omitted hardware components to an existing contract under contract FA8771-04-D-0007-2CA3 awarded to General Dynamics for the purchase and installation of a new multi-media wall project which is still in progress. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii)(B). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements, these services are needed by the agency and are available from this responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the needs of the agency or will result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirement. A determination not to compete this action is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. Inquiries should be directed no later than 2:00 PM, 11 May 2011, via e-mail, referencing FA8771-04-D-0007-2CA3 to Contract Administrator, patricia.early@us.army.mil. The Government will review any responses, without prejudice; whether or not the Government initially determines that another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the U.S. Army Requirement. NOTE: If documents are sent via e-mail, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by calling Patricia Early, Contract Administrator, at (706) 791-9973. No solicitation is available and telephone request for information will not be honored.
