- This notice is to extend the release and closing date. The new release date will be on or about May 11, 2011 and the closing date of June 27, 2011. The Little Rock District Corps of Engineers Contracting Division has a requirement. General Information: Replace switchgear, switchboard, and associated lighting contactors, control cabinets, motor centers, associated controls, feeders and conduits. The work will also include rehabilitation of existing cabinets and enclosures. The objective of the project is for the contractor to provide all design, services, materials, supplies, labor, equipment, investigations, studies, and travel necessary to complete the project. Place of performance is Greers Ferry Dam, Heber Springs, AR and Beaver Dam, Eureka Springs, AR. The type of contract is firm fixed-price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238210, and the acquisition is 100 percent Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) set-a-side. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The issued date for solicitation is on or about May 11, 2011 with a closing date on or about June 27, 2011. There will not be a public bid opening. The contract resulting from this procurement will be awarded to the responsible Business whose proposal conforms to all of the requirements of the solicitation. The Government will conduct a Site Visit, dates to be announced. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a hard paper copy. Notification of amendments will be made via the Internet. It is the vendor's responsibility to check the Internet daily for any posted changes to the solicitation.
