- **PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE** This requirement will result in a firm-fixed priced contract for 28 each and a 100% option. Air Compressors are in support of the Shop Equipment Welder. First delivery will be required 3 weeks after date of award. Rate of delivery is 8 per month. FOB is Destination. The solicitation will require a Site Visit, date(s) will be determined in the solicitation. Estimated issue date is 12 May 2011. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the Army Single Face to Industry Website. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders' mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Government. Air compressor shall be oil lubricated reciprocating piston type, be direct drive, produce a minimum of 4 SCFM @ 100 psi, pump to a minimum of 125 psi, have a minimum 10 gallon tank, and an air regulator with gage sized appropriately for pressure range. The electric motor must run on 120V, single-phase, 60 Hz power with a max of 15 amps and produce 2 HP. The unit shall not exceed 90 lbs total, be preset to come on at 100 psi, shut off at 125 psi, and have vibration isolators between the unit and enclosure to reduce noise and damage. The overall footprint shall be within 20.75" wide x 18" deep x 25" tall.
