- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, N4155711RC061FS is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. The NAICS code is 423910 and the small business size standard is 500. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation: Fitness Center Equipment Specifications: CLIN 001 - Calf Extension Exercise Machine, Precor C623EC or equal, 2 each Seated position calf resistance exercise machine: seated position means that users position on the machine directs force properly through the hips; multiple foot positions accommodates short and tall users; metal frame; weight stack a force multiplier of 3 times i.e. effective maximum lift weight 510 lbs.; weight stack 170 lbs; ratcheting seat adjustments; handles include slip resistant rubber sleeves with machined alloy end-caps; adjustment points are highlighted with contrasting colors for ease of use; weight stacks have full shrouded weight stacks in full compliance with ASTM and EN standards; all plates shall be entirely precisioned on all surfaces and painted with protective finish; guide rods are precision center less round, polished, with corrosion-resistant plating for smooth operation and rust retardation; weight stack is elevated to facilitate user pin selection from seated position; frame is 11 gauge; upholstery is premium quality urethane molded foam padding & meets or exceeds California fire regulations, automotive-grade, double top stitching on all seams.
