- Description
- This is a solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 37.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and all other items, unless specified as government furnished, to manage and perform key logistical aspects in support of the United States Air Force Expeditionary Operations School (USAFEOS) locations of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. Majority of services will include logistical support of operations exercises. Exercises and/or required logistical support are identified as small (1-14 continuous calendar days), medium (5-14 continuous calendar days), or large (10-20 continuous calendar days). Exercises and/or required logistical support are commonly separate; however, one or more may be combined to enhance exercise capability/flexibility (i.e. one medium plus one small or two small). Task names (i.e. forward node, cadre facilities, mock village and host nation) are considered support packages and may be utilized for other means as required. This solicitation is a request for proposal and is issued as 100% Full and Open Competition under the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) of 8742, the NAICS code of 541614 and the Small Business Size Standard of $7 million. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31. The proposed performance period is a base period from 1 June 2011 through 30 September 2011 with four one year options beginning 1 October 2011 through 30 September 2012. A site visit will only be conducted upon request. If a site visit is requested, prior coordination with the 87 Contracting Squadron is mandatory no later than 1400 hours eastern standard time 9 May 2011. Additional information and instructions for the site visit will be provided in the solicitation. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in CCR at the time of award. Solicitation will be issued on or about 1 May 2011. Due date will be posted on the solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only through www.fedbizopps.gov.
