- The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions posed by a potential quoter. Question 1: Is it contemplated that spent and contaminated solvent is to be recycled in the tool and furthermore that such contamination is considered acceptable? As solvent is there to dissolve material such material cannot be filtered out as it is in solution. Answer 1: Yes, as stated in the specification, each solvent will be recirculated back to its respective supply tank. Question 2: Is it contemplated that the various solvents to be employed can acceptably contaminate each other or must the be scrupulously separated in the drain system, what level of cross contamination is considered acceptable? Answer 2: Yes, we understand that there will be some level of cross contamination between solvents. We have not stated a level of cross contamination in the specification however it is expected that recipe steps will minimize this. Question 3: Is it contemplated that the solvent process be done to completion before the DIW process is employed to avoid any cross contamination? Answer 3: Yes, all solvent processing should be complete before the DI water rinse. All terms and conditions of the original solicitation, including closing date and time, remain unchanged and in full effect.
