- The Hampton VAMC, Hampton, VA is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business who has proven experience in hospital facility construction and renovations to complete the project Construct and Renovate Surgery Area at the Hampton VAMC, Hampton, VA. The contractor shall completely prepare site for building construction, renovate existing surgical area and associated clinical spaces as well as build additional surgical space. The NACIS code for this procurement will be 236220 with a small business size standard of $33,500,000.00. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The specifications will be uploaded on/about May 20, 2011. A single pre-bid/walk-through will be announced in the solicitation. A bid opening will be on or about June 20, 2011 (tentative date). These dates are all estimates. The actual dates will be stated in the solicitation. The point of contact (POC) for this upcoming solicitation is James Wood, VISN6 Contracting Officer.
