- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The Wilkes Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WBVAMC) is performing market research to determine if there are a sufficient number of qualified vendors to provide Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology Laboratory (CCL/EP) training. The Government will use responses to this notice to make to an appropriate acquisition decision. The contractor shall provide education and precepting of staff associated with the planned operations of the CCL/EP scheduled for opening in September 2011. Services shall be provided at the WBVAMC located at 1111 East End Blvd., Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, 18711 Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The contractor shall provide on-site instructor guided education focused on attaining and maintaining the technical skills necessary for competent performance in the CCL/EP laboratory specific for registered nurses and radiology technologists. Personnel assigned by the contractor to perform the services identified above shall be knowledgeable and skilled in cardiac catheterization/electrophysiology services and practices. Contractor shall be experienced in operation of cardiac catheterization/electrophysiology equipment and procedures as defined by the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals. All interested parties shall respond, via email, with information describing their interest and experience providing CCL/EP training to rachel.turk@va.gov no later than 12:00 pm on Tuesday 3 May 2011.
