Description
Revised specifications for strapped jackets 647-575 and 647-630. This re-solicitation with revised specs will open on Monday, May 2, 2011 at 1:00 PM Central Time. THIS IS A RE-SOLICITATION OF BIDS PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED TO OPEN ON APRIL 27, 2011. THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR EACH JACKET HAVE CHANGED REGARDING THE LITERATURE DISPLAY PRODUCT (PAGE 2, 3, ATTACHMENT 3) AND SCHEDULE (PAGE 7). READ CAREFULLY. PREDOMINANT PRODUCTION FUNCTION: The predominant production function of this order is large format digital printing or screen printing. Contract Clause 6, "Subcontracts," of GPO Contract Terms (GPO Publications 310.2, effective December 1, 1987 (Rev. 6-01), states that NO portion of the predominant production function may be subcontracted. SPECIFICATIONS APPLY EQUALLY TO ALL JACKETS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. These specifications set forth the requirements for the customization, packaging, labeling, and delivery of two different portable display booth units in various quantities, delivering FOB Destination. Contractor to furnish Portable display booth units with lights, slide on fabric graphics, portable rollup literature rack, and rolling carrying cases. Each unit must also include easy-to-use assembly and disassembly instructions in English. Graphics include text, rules, line-art illustration, solids, screens, reverses and color halftones. Full bleeds required on all graphics. TITLE: JACKET 647-575: GS 10-048/A/B Squadron Displays & Graphics JACKET 647-630: GS 10-048A HQ Display Graphics QUANTITY: JACKET 647-575: 187 Units JACKET 647-630: 27 Units Material will be available for pickup at the U.S. Government Printing Office, Dallas, TX on or before May 4, 2011. After approval of prior to production samples, Contractor is responsible for scheduling delivery of all subsequent display units and is expected to ship as each unit is completed. Contractor option to prioritize delivery locations. Written schedules must be submitted in whole or in part a minimum of 10 working days before the first date indicated on the given schedule. Updated schedules are expected on a weekly basis and are subject to approval within 2 working days of receipt. Prior to production samples FOR EACH JACKET must be delivered on or before May 20, 2011. 72 units deliver on or before July 8, 2011 70 units deliver on or before August 12, 2011 70 units deliver on or before September 16, 2011 BILLING: The contractor is authorized to bill for individual locations as they are completed. Contractor must furnish proof of delivery with invoice.
