- This is a Notice of Intent to award Sole Source fixed-price purchase order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures and Far Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, for the acquisition of repair service of XTS 5000 Land Mobile Radios (LMR). This is not a request for competitive proposals. This acquisition is required to support the 55th Communications Squadron which has 483 LMR's and require repair as needed. Solicitation number is F3HKB41042A001. Motorola Solutions factory and federal repair centers are the only repair centers with access to flash firmware, FM approval certification and capable of recertifying the radio to maintain it's intrinsically safe (IS) standards and will be awarded as a Sole Source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811213. The business size standard is $10M. Line Items: - Repair service for XTS 5000 LMRs as needed. Contractor will provide all parts, software and labor to bring radios to manufacturer specifications to restore equipment to FM-Approved IS standards.
