Description
Request for proposal Fire Exit Door Annunciator Power & Monitoring Project The Oneonta Job Corps Academy (OJCA) and Education & Training Resources (ETR); located at 21 Homer Folks Avenue, Oneonta, N.Y. 13820, 607-433-2111, are desirous of a certified, bonded, licensed, and fully insured contractor to submit a bid on the federally funded project mentioned herein; and if successfully awarded the subject contract, to satisfactorily perform the following work project according to the established criteria contained within same. New York State prevailing wages do apply to this project. Potential bidders must have or obtain a Dunn & Bradstreet (DUNS) number to be awarded a federal contract. Potential bidders must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before being awarded a federal contract. A mandatory walk through for the project will be scheduled for 10 May 2011 at 2:00 PM. Final bids are due to this center, not later than 17 May 2011 at 2:00 PM. Point of contact for this project is Mr. Jeffrey Duplacy; he can be reached via email at duplacy.jeffrey@jobcorps.org Scope of Work Action: 1 - Building #1 1. 16 fire alarm door annunciators that are already installed and operating off of battery power; have to be replaced with new units to run off of the building's internal electrical power. Each door must have an alarm bypass located at latch height. 2. The same 16 annunciators to be hardwired to an annunciator panel installed in the safety office (Safety office is located on the first floor). Ø 4 of the annunciators are located in the basement. Ø 4 of the annunciators are located on the first floor. Ø 4 of the annunciators are located on the second floor. Ø 4 of the annunciators are located on the third floor. 3.
