- This is an intended sole source announcement. Space and Naval WarfareCenter Atlantic (SPAWAR Atlantic) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Elma Bustronic Corporation. This requirement is for the procurement of 11 each Type 11 Rackmount Chassis, P/N: 11A06GJB68Y4HPBS-SPWR under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Elma Bustronics Corporation is the sole source manufacturer and holds propriety schematics, drawings and specifications. Award is anticipated by COB 2 May 2011. This synopsis is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. No electronic or hard copy Request For Quote (RFQ) will be prepared or made available for distribution. This action will be conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. NAICS is 334111. CCR registration is required for all vendors doing business with the Department of Defense. Quotes are due to the Contract Specialist, Melody Proffit at melody.proffit@navy.mil by 3:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 2 May 2011. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
