- Class J&A for Scholastic Curriculum. Description of Supplies or Services : New (unused and/or unopened) curriculum materials (defined as text books, teachers' guidebooks, supplements items such as DVDs, etc; designed to enhance the students' learning experience) required to outfit new Defense Domestic and Secondary School System (DDESS) schools, add materials at existing DDESS schools due to increased enrollments, or replace materials at existing DDESS schools. The curriculum covered by this justification includes some courses in the following areas: guided reading, the Read 180 program, and elementary reading for Spanish. Description of Action : The Government intends to award sole source purchase orders to Scholastic for curriculum materials in the estimated amount of $500,000.
