- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Fort Snelling, MN intends to award a procurement on a sole-source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. This is a simplified acquisition to be awarded to Johnson Oil Company of Gaylord, Michigan for the purchase of diesel fuel for the Motor Vessel M/V Spencer F. Baird. Fuel is to be delivered to the vessel on an as needed basis at the ports of Alpena, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, and/or Traverse, MI. Supplier must hold all necessary permits/certification and insurance to transport fuel on Lake Michigan. No solicitation document for this procurement exists. Any response to this announcement must be submitted within 72 hours of publication of this notice. This procurement is set-aside for small business under NAICS Code 424720 with a small business size standard of 100 employees.
