- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR Universal Water Activated Release System A-10, B-1B, B-2, B-52, F-15, F-16, F-22, T-38C Aircraft Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, OO-ALC/GHGKA PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION This is a Source Sought Synopsis announcement, market research for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. This market research is being conducted to identify potential sources possessing the engineering and manufacturing knowledge for the Universal Water Activated Release System used on the A-10, B-1B, B-2, B-52, F-15, F-16, F-22, T-38C Aircraft. No proposal is requested or accepted from synopsis. This is not a solicitation for proposal and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command, OO-ALC/GHGKA, Hill AFB is conducting a market survey for the following requirements; National Stock Number Part Number 1377-01-394-1271ES 1817-017-02 1377-01-394-1272ES 1817-017-01 1377-01-394-5661ES 1914-024-03 INSTRUCTION Provide relevant experience to include performing engineering, manufacturing, inspection, and testing of similar Universal Water Activated Release System in the last 5 years. Company Profile will include the following: A. Number of employees. B. Office Location C. CAGE Code D. DUNS Number E. Small Business designation/status claimed No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The Government has very limited technical data to provide to potential offerors. Offerors must possess access to all appropriate data. Cobham Mission Systems St. Petersburg, FL has the capability and drawings for the Universal Water Activated Release System, and the government does not own or have the rights to use the data required to manufacture this device. Interested offerors shall respond to this Source Sought Synopsis no later than 3:00 PM 10 May 2011.
