Description
This solicitation is amended to add questions sent to this office and the government's response to those questions. 1. Can you please clarify the requirements are for a mobile medical facility? Are you looking for an OSHA, HIPAA, ADA compliant Mobile Medical Dental/Practice like this or is a portable shed acceptable? [The referenced picture was not posted due to graphics identifying the vendor, picture was of a class A trailer with expandable sides for medical and dental services.] Government's answer: The mobile medical/dental facility shall be capable of providing all services as outlined in the PWS while being compliant with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA and all other applicable state and federal laws. 2. There are not CLINS listed to support the following tasks: In accordance with the Performance Work Statement, the contractor shall provide, in a fixed or mobile setting, all management, labor, material, personal equipment, certifications and supplies necessary to provide Medical services, dental examinations, dental treatments, health and dental record updating, MEDPROS and DENCLASS updating. There is a significant management component required to supervise events that are help both inside and outside of the Togus VA. I would also recommend that you add a CLIN to add a position to accomplish this task. Government's answer: The government does not intend to add CLINs to the contract for adminstration of events. The medical services offered under this contract augment the MEARNG's medical staff specilities. The MEARNG medical command is responsible for administering the PHA events. 3. Is there a SOW or a PWS for this solicitation? I could not find it on FBO. Government's answer: The PWS is linked to the solicitation. The hyperlink does not appear to be working but the URL can be pasted into the address bar of a browser to view. How will proposals quoting a daily rate be evaluated compared to hourly rates as requested in the solicitation? Government's answer: Offeror's shall provide hourly, fully-burdened rates for each speciality. If daily rates are provided, offerors must indicate the base hours to enable conversion into an hourly rate. *** Please reference in any proposals that this amendment has been considered. There is extension to the due date associated with this amendment. Offers are due April 26, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. EST.
