Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as 100% small business set-aside. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50 released 20110415 and DFARS Change Notice 20110419. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335211 and the size standard is 750 employees. The small business size standard for a concern which submits an offer in its own name, but which proposes to furnish an item which it did not itself manufacture, is 500 employees. REQUIREMENTS: The Air Force has a requirement for kitchen equipment to support military dining facilities. This requirement is a brand name or equal request. If offering an "equal" product please provide product specifications, part numbers and pictures, if available. Vendors supplying "equal" products shall meet the Government's salient characteristics outlined under the descriptions below. Contract award is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds. QUOTE REQUIREMENTS: Quotes must also be submitted on an all or none basis and contain product specifications addressing characteristics such as quality/durability, materials each item is made of, compatibility, etc. Quotes shall be good through 30 Jul 2011. FOB: Destination. For delivery to 410 N Frank Luke Dr on Lackland AFB, TX 78236-5253. The government will award a contract upon receipt of funding resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable, responsible offeror. To be technically acceptable, the items being offered must meet or exceed the salient characteristics listed under each item below. Interested parties may submit a written offer in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. FAR 52.225-1, Buy American Act-Supplies. Offers submitted orally will not be accepted. Your offer must include discount terms, delivery date, tax identification number, cage code, and DUNS number. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions. Offerors must complete the Representations and Certifications in the ORCA database at http://www.bpn.gov/. FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation - Commercial Items. (Jan 1999). The government will award a contract on the basis of the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Since award will be based on initial responses, offerors are highly encouraged to quote their most advantageous pricing in their initial response.
