- The Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands, Fort Pierre National Grasslands located in Fort Pierre, SD has an opportunity for a performance based service contract for Herbicide treatment of approximately 1,500 acres on Forest Service lands South of the Town of Pierre in South Dakota, Lyman County for Sickleweed (Falcaria vulgaris) including 1125 ounces of Escort XP (Precision packed), 62.5 Gallons of Liberate Penetrant Deposition and Drift Contract Agent and 62.5 Gallons of Water Soft (UAP Timberline). The contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies and incidentals necessary to provide Herbicide Treatment on the Fort Pierre National Grasslands in accordance with the specifications, wage rates, terms and conditions. Services to be performed between mid May 2011 and be completed no later than June 30, 2011. A pre-quote tour will occur on May 2 at 10:00am CST at the Fort Pierre Office located at 1020 North Deadwood St., Fort Pierre, SD 57532. This requirement is 100 percent set aside for a small business concern. NAICS Code 115310, $7.0 Million. Award of a single firm-fixed price performance based contract will be made to the most qualified contractor based on a best value determination on evaluation criteria as stated in the Solicitation.
