- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 37, Service Contracting and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Social Security Administration, Region IV, intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Verbatim Hearing Reporters to provide court reporting services for various locations in the Atlanta Region. NAICS code: 561492. The size standard is $6.5 million. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The Request for Quotations (SSA-RFQ-R04-11-1009) will be posted at http:www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 4/27/11 with quotations due no later than 5/18/11. Paper copies of the RFQ will not be available. No telephone, e-mail, mail or fax requests for a copy of the solicitation package will be accepted. Solicitation packages must be sent via e-mail or mail with delivery confirmation for tracking purposes. Contracting personnel will not be able to address delivery receipt concerns during the award process. Solicitation packages posted mark after 5/18/11 will not be accepted. A firm-fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) will be issued, a base period plus one ordering period, with a performance period of 6/01/11 to 12/31/12. Anticipated award dates will start 5/23/11. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which shall be considered. No award will be issued to a prospective contractor or vendor that has not registered or has not updated their profile to current in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database ( www.ccr.gov).
