- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies (TRB). This purchase is for 150 copies of the Highway Capacity Manual, HCM2010. TRB is the only known company that sells this Manual. The proposed action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $21,600; the anticipated award date is mid-May, 2011.
