Sole Source: Argon Corporation Cage Code: 0M450 NSN: 5980-PL-M10-152F Noun: LCD DISPLAY Part Number: ALR020 LCD DISPLAY EDM Quantity: 2 Tech Order: N/A Descriptem of Item: Custom LCD display manufactured to customer specifications, EDM(Engineering Development Model) for preliminary testing. 13.8" x 10.8" x 1.5" Size: Material: Total Weight: End Item Application: AN/ALR-20 Panoramic Display. The items requested for purchase are four 15 inch Liquid Criytal Displays (LCD) that are ruggedized for military avionics standards. The deliverables include two engineering prototype displays and two displays to be used for environmental testing. Thes units require some design, environmental and EMI testing. This will require that a Non Reoccuring Expense (NRE) be added to the cost of three units. The units should have the capabilities as follows: • A diagonal 15" active area display • Powered by a 115VAC @ 400Hz power supply consuming less than 110 Watts • A way of securely mounting the display to the Panoramic Indicator's chassis • Being able to operate properly @ -40C after 5 minutes • Able to meet the environmental requirements as stated in the document "ALR-20 Panoramic Display.pdf" • Must contain a DVI video output • Must be LED backlit with a luminance of 300 NITs minimum • Resolution of at least 124X768 • A contrac ratio of at least 500:1 • Must be able to display green on a black background (other colors not necessary). • Temperature operation (continuous operation -54C to +55C; intermittent operation (up to 30 minutes) @ +70C; long term non-operation -57C to +85C) This is a non stock listed procurement.
