- Request for Proposal Commercial Bus Transportation The Oneonta Job Corps Academy (OJCA) and Education & Training Resources (ETR); located at 21 Homer Folks Avenue, Oneonta, N.Y. 13820, 607-433-2111, are desirous of a fully insured vendor to submit a bid on the federally funded project mentioned herein; and if successfully awarded the subject contract, to satisfactorily deliver the goods and services according to the established criteria contained within same. Potential bidders must have or obtain a Dunn & Bradstreet (DUNS) number to be awarded a federal contract. Potential bidders must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before being awarded a federal contract. Final bids are due to this center, not later than 4:00 PM on 10 May 2011. The Oneonta Job Corps Academy is requesting bids to supply commercial bus service on 30 June 2011 & 18 July 2011 for our students. We will require six buses for each day. All trips will originate from the OJCA campus. The destinations for each bus are as follows: Three buses for NYC charter, all to one destination: 1) Intersection of West 31 st Street and 8 th Avenue (near Penn Station), Manhattan. One bus for NJ charter, three destinations: 1) Raymond Plaza (near Penn station) on West Market Street, Newark. 2) 328 Fellowship Road (near the greyhound station), Mt. laurel. 3) 100 North Broadway (near the greyhound station), Camden. One bus for Long Island charter, two destinations: 1) 168 Jackson Street (near the greyhound station), Hempstead. 2) 264 Deer Park Avenue (near the Babylon Paint & Hardware Store) Babylon. One bus for upstate charter, three destinations: 1) 105 Chenango Street (near the greyhound station), Binghamton. 2) 131 Alliance Bank Parkway (Regional Transportation Center), Syracuse. 3) 320 Central Avenue (near the Amtrak station), Rochester. All buses will have an OJCA chaperone on board. On 30 June 2011, all buses will depart from the OJCA campus with Students and chaperone on board, then proceed to their destinations and return to the OJCA campus to drop off the chaperones. On 18 July 2011, all buses will depart from the OJCA campus with only the chaperone on board, and then proceed to their destinations to pick up the students and return the students and chaperones to the OJCA campus. A detailed itinerary with required reporting times will be provided to the successful bidder upon award of the contract. All buses will need to report to the OJCA campus 30 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time.
