- The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Office of Acquisitions intends to issue a solicitation under Solicitation Number SECHQ1-11-R-0006 for nationwide contractor support services. The contractor shall be responsible for providing persons/personnel to perform work characterized as technical, professional, administrative, and clerical to all regional and headquarters offices of the SEC on an as needed basis. The types of positions or labor categories will be outlined in the solicitation. The contract type will be indefinitely quantity indefinite delivery firm fixed price contract with time and material provisions in accordance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. The ordering period of the contracts will consist of a base year and include four 12 month option periods. The awards will be made to the responsible company/companies who submit the most advantageous proposals to the Government based on a best value determination. Services will be procured using procedures in FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation will be made available on or about May 4, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.febbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitations will not be available. All future information regarding this acquisition, including the solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The solicitation will contain the Performance Work Statement and evaluation factors. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Additionally, all awardees must complete an Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System codes the Government anticipates most requirements will fall under but is not all inclusive are 561110 and 541611 with a size standard of $7.0 million. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is June 4, 2011 by 3:00p.m Eastern Daylight Savings Time, however, this is a projected estimate and offerors should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation for the actual date and time proposals are due. The anticipated award date will be approximately August 15, 2011.
