- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Broadcast Microwave Services, Inc. of Poway, CA, for procurement of auto-tracking video downlink receiver system upgrades that are required for point-to-point monitoring of real-time surveillance gvideo transmitted from US Customs/Border Patrol aircraft in support of anti-drug and terrorism missions and multiple disaster surveillance missions. The Government does not own any data rights due to cost contraints and lack of future equipment requirements. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
