Description
U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements to The American Quicksilver Co. Inc., 646 Rushton Rd Cincinnati, OH 45226 for the procurement of Type P1/A Engineered Blade IAW NIJ-0115.00, Type S1/G Engineered Blade IAW NIJ-0115.00, and 7' Engineered Spike IAW NIJ-0115.00. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 3:30 pm EST, 30 April 2011. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5MB. Otherwise, responses must be submitted via hard copy to: U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (Soldier, Chemical, Research & Test), ATTN: CCRD-AP-BA (Noyes), 4118 Susquehanna Ave., Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005.
