- Description
- The Black Hills National Forest, Mystic Ranger District has an opportunity for a performance-based contract for herbicide spraying/treatment of noxious weeds and performing weed inventories covering approximately 440 acres of Forest Service lands within Pennington, County of South Dakota. The contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to identify and treat noxious weeds in accordance with the specifications, wage rates, terms and conditions. Award of a single firm-fixed performance based contract will be made to the most qualified contractor based on a best value determination based on evaluation criteria as stated in the solicitation. This contract opportunity is a total small business set-aside contract. Neither a Pre-quote tour nor site visit is scheduled. It is the contractor's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the normal terrain. Spraying and inventorying is normally performed within ponderosa pine, spruce, aspen, range areas, and some hardwood stands.
