- This sources sought announcement is for information and planning purposes only; it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. A contract may not be awarded as a result of this sources sought announcement. The Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Supply Center - Columbus (DCSO-C) is seeking sources for a potential 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. IF ADEQUATE RESPONSES ARE NOT RECEIVED, THE ACQUISITION MAY BE SOLICITED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. Title/Description: Project CSC-09174, M&R to Pavement, Defense Supply Center, Columbus, Ohio. This project consists of maintenance and repair of select roads and parking lots at Defense Supply Center Columbus. Work to be performed includes but not limited to crack repair, milling and resurfacing, slurry seal (Type I, II, and III), utility cut patching replacement, and replacing pavement markings within all pavement maintenance. Details of workmanship shall be in accordance with the highest standards and best practices of the respective trade as recognized by respective contractor's association. Only qualified tradesman or mechanics shall be assigned to do the work required under this project. At no time shall the work be accomplished by apprentices or laborers without the supervision of a journeyman or higher level of supervision. The Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Supply Center- Columbus (DCSO-C) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with a 150 day calendar period of performance. The estimated magnitude of the entire project is between $250,000.00and $500,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement us 236220 and the size standard is $33.5 million. Small Business contractors interested in providing proposals for this requirement MUST submit a capability package by 12:00 PM EST on Thursday 29 April 2011. Capability packages should reference solicitation number SP470211R0015. Your response must include the following: •a) A positive statement of your intent to submit an offer for this solicitation. •b) Past performance evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, length of contract, project titles, dollar amounts, pints of contact and telephone numbers and an explanation of the relevancy of the project. •c) Identification of certificates and licenses that your skilled labor workforce possesses to perform this work. •d) Identification of management capabilities, management controls, and procedures which ensure successful performance. •e) Your company name, point of contact, address, phone number, e-mail address and business size under NAICS code 236220 and contractor DUNS Number or CAGE code. •f) Number of years experience performing similar type and scope of work. Contractors interested should provide the documentation listed above by e-mail. All of the information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested small business concerns.
