- 1. The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for 62d Maintenance Group Aircraft Transient Alert and Aircraft Wash Services at McChord Field, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. A complete Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Proposals (RFP) number will be W911S8-11-R-0003. 2. This requirement was previously posted as Sources Sought, Aircraft Services - MICCJBLMFY11001. 3. The solicitation will result in a contract being issued to a single contractor. The resulting contract will be a Requirement contract, and will consist of a one (1)-year Base Period, with four (4) one (1)-year Options. This contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act. The place of performance is at McChord Field, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. The applicable NAICS code is 488190, Other Support Activities for Air Transportation - "Airports, Flying Fields, and Airport Terminal Services (aircraft servicing and repairing)" and the small business size standard is $7 Million. This procurement is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO); Small Business set-aside. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be provided in an electronic format via the FedBizOpps website, https://www.fbo.gov/ and the solicitation will also be posted on the Joint Base Lewis-McChord, MICC Directorate of Contracting website, http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc/, under Solicitations. The tentative solicitation issue date is on or about 1 June 2011 and the anticipated closing date is 1 July 2011. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible SDVO small business sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ and are highly encouraged to be registered in Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) https://orca.bpn.gov/. Offeror must ensure that the applicable NAICS code 488190 is included in the CCR profile prior to submission of proposals. Any proposal submitted by a business that is not classified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO); Small Business will not be evaluated. 6.
